is a seaside town on the south coast of
West Sussex. It is located on the A259 between
Lancing (to the

many charming historic buildings –
including the Norman church of St. Mary
de Haura and the local museum. It is also
close to Shoreham Airport, which is said
to be the oldest operational airport in
the UK, and an RSPB nature reserve which
is home to a variety of coast birds.
Surrounding Shoreham-by-Sea are a few smaller
villages and surburbs including Upper Cokeham,
Old Shoreham, Mile Oak, Portslade, Botolphs
and Coombes.
