Rainworth is a town situated approximately 2 miles from Mansfield and just south of the A616, the Chesterfield to Newark road which surrounds Mansfield from the east to the west. To the east lies ‘The Wonderland Pleasure Park’ and ‘The White Post Farm Centre’. Rainworth is located in the southern region of Sherwood Forest and with only a golf course between the town and Chipstone to the north. Extensive rural areas lie to the south towards Blidworth and Ravenshead.
