Warsop is a town situated along the A60
north of Mansfield. It lies on the borders
of Sherwood Forest within 5 miles of Edwinstowe
and 4 miles east of Shirebrook. The scenic
vale of the River Meden lies to the north,
west and south west and the town of Mansfield
Woodhouse 7 miles to the south. Within a
few miles south east is located the Sherwood
Forest Farm Park and a camping site close
to the River Maun. Beyond the Meden Valley
lie the villages of Chuckney and Norton
and the beautiful area around the Great
Lake containing the Creswell Crags Museum.
