Blidworth,
Nottinghamshire
Gliding peacefully across beautiful countryside
early on a summer morning, or in the evening
is an unforgettable experience. Unlike other
aircraft, you can watch the hot air balloon
being assembled before your eyes - just
like a giant tent ! Then climb aboard and
admire the view from the basket - no doors
closed, or windows to sit behind, it's all
out in the fresh air. Fantastic !
Blidworth
is an old village situated in the centre
of Nottinghamshire, in the Newark and Sherwood
district. It is served by minor roads south
of the A617. Ravenshead lies to the south
west and Rainworth to the north, along the
south side of the A617. There is an extensive
rural area for approximately 4 miles to
the west with the town of Kirkby-in-Ashfield
beyond. The villages of Haywood Oaks and
White Post with its Wonderland and Leisure
Park and the White Post Farm Centre lie
to the east. We’d love to see this area
from a hot air balloon. Vouchers are available
to buy online – exact location of take-off
cannot be guaranteed.
Passengers can choose
the location of their flight after purchasing
a voucher accepted for flights all over
the UK. Prices depend on number of passengers
- more passengers cost less per person.
