Warrington
is a large town between Liverpool
and Manchester. It is in the county of Merseyside,
just north of the Manchester Ship Canal
(which flows into the River Mersey at Runcorn).
Warrington is a built-up area that includes
a wide range of industrial and commercial
activity, as well as residential property
and associated services such as schools,
colleges, libraries, and so on. Road access
to Warrington is via the motorway network
from either The M53 (Junctions 9, 10, or
11), the M6 (Junctions 20, 21, or 21A) or
the M62 (Junctions 7, 8 near Burtonwood
Services, 9, or 10). It is also on the railway
line between Liverpool and Manchester.
Visitor acctractions in the Warrington area
include Warrington Museum, Walton Hall,
Gulliver's World Amusement Park, and golf
courses around the town itself.
