Walton, Merseyside

Merseyside is a densely populated coastal county, lots of people, spirit, humour, lots to see - from land and air.

Walton is an area of the North Merseyside conurbation. It is approx. 5 miles north of Liverpool city centre and close to the neighbouring areas of Anfield, Norris Green, Fazakerley, Orrell and Bootle.

Walton is an important area of Liverpool that is especially well-known locally for its two major institutions: Walton Hospital and Walton Gaol. More cheerfully, there is also a thriving shopping area in Walton, together with the other facilities one would expect, such as schools, libraries, and residential accomodation.
