Seaforth,
Merseyside
Merseyside
is a densely populated coastal county, lots
of people, spirit, humour, lots to see -
from land and air.
Seaforth
is a built-up area north of Liverpool city
centre. It is located on the coast (docklands
rather that beach) west of Litherland
and north of Bootle,
both of which are also residential areas
close to the city of Liverpool. The area
immediately north of Seaforth is Waterloo
then Crosby (Little
Crosby further north and Great Crosby immediately
north along the A565).
Seaforth is easily reached by road or rail
(Merseyrail) from Liverpool city centre.
Seaforth is served by the stations for Litherland
and Waterloo (within walking distance from
most of Seaforth). These stations are on
the line from Liverpool Central (Railway
Station) to Southport.
Services are usually every 15 minutes during
the daytime.
Due to Seaforth being a built-up area next
to the docks and the Irish Sea, we expect
that residents may have to travel a short
distance to a more rural area for hot air
balloon rides, check with your local operator
for take-off locations.
