Merseyside
is a densely populated coastal county, lots
of people, spirit, humour, lots to see -
from land and air.
Bootle
is a town within the Merseyside conurbation.
It is located along, and just inland of
the coast (predominately a dockland area),
immediately north of the City of Liverpool.
It is between Liverpool City Centre (to
the south) and Litherland (to the north).
Bootle includes large areas of residential
property as well as industrial and retail
premises as far north as the northern-most
Liverpool docks (no-longer used to capacity)
at Seaforth and Waterloo.
This is not the most obvious area for Hot
Air Ballooning but residents of Bootle can
of course enjoy beautiful Hot Air Balloon
rides from just a few miles away (either
north towards Formby, or south towards scenic
parts of the Wirral). Also remember that
tethered Hot Air Balloons sometimes feature
at outdoor events - even in built-up areas.
