Hythe,
Kent
Many
fantastic aerials views of Kent may be enjoyed
from hot air balloon flights over Britian's
most south-easterly county.
Hythe
is a small coastal town in south-east Kent.
It is just a couple of miles west of Folkestone
and several miles north-east of the Old
Lighthouse at Dungeness. Hythe is a small
town today but has a long and interesting
history, having been one of the original
Cinque Ports. The beach is a mixture of
sand and shale and is popular for days out
in good weather.
Surrounding Hythe are Seabrook, Sandgate,
Horn Street, Saltwood, Pedlinge and West
Hythe.
