South Cerney is a thriving Cotswold village that lies 7 miles south-east of Cirencester, close to on the Wiltshire border. It is situated within the Cotswold Water Park area with lakeside developments close by with many water sports and land based leisure activities available. Keynes Country Park between South Cerney and Somerford is probably the best known of the lakeside developments with an Information Centre. Within 2 miles south-east of South Cerney is Cerney Wick, a small village with a reservoir and camping and caravan site nearby.
