Willingdon, one of the larger villages within the county of east Sussex, sits alongside the A2270. It is approximately 3 miles north of the coastal town of Eastbourne (reached by the A2270) and roughly 2 miles south of Polegate. Closely surrounding Willingdon are Jevington to the south and Folkington to the north. Just under a mile north of the large village is the Filching Motor Museum of Polegate. A short journey northwest will lead to the chalk image of The Long Man of Wilmington, which is 230ft+ and lies within the civil parish.
