The
small town and civil parish of Southwick
is roughly 3 miles west of the busy town
of Brighton.
The A529 coastal road passes through the
town, which is also near the A27. Smaller
surrounding areas include Portslade, a couple
miles northeast, Kingston-by-Sea just over
a mile west and Portslade-by-Sea
1½ miles southeast. The town is a
suburb of the bustling city of Brighton
and Hove and is home to its very own opera
theatre.
