sits on the A259, with
Hastings 1 to 2 miles to the southwest
and Rye a simple trip
roughly 7 to 8 miles northeast along the
A259. With a brief trip southwest of Ore
the Clement’s Caves can be found.
Ore, once a village, is now the largest
suburb of the large town of Hastings. Ore
has several churches including the Parish
Christ Church, Methodist Church, the Seventh-Day
Adventist Church and the more recent Anglican
Church, built in honour of St. Helen. There
is also a railway, lying on the Marshlink
Line.
