The coastal town of Eastbourne is located to the east end of the South Downs and is known for being one of the sunniest places in England. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful areas of the Beachy Head and is home to the Carpet Gardens. Eastbourne has a simple train link to Brighton. It is situated southeast of Polegate (which is reached by the A27) and Willingdon (reached by the A2270). Eastbourne is directly east of Seaford.
