Crowborough
is located more or less 6 miles southwest
of Tunbridge Wells and 6 miles northeast
of Uckfield,
which are both a convenient journey away
along the A26. The town lies directly east
from Ashdown Forest and lies on the edges
of the Weald. It sits on the highest point
of the Weald at 159m, as well as the second
highest point in all of East Sussex. Crowborough’s
train station enables a simple one hour
journey to London Bridge Station, making
it a prime area for commuters. Smaller surrounding
areas include Poundfield, Jarvis Brook and
Boarshead.
