Bexhill is a quiet town in comparison to the more easterly, neighbouring town of Hastings. It lies northeast along the coastline from Eastbourne and is just slightly over 5 miles south of the historical town of Battle. The town flaunts a beautiful pavilion – the De La Warr Pavilion, a well recognised centre for contemporary arts. Another top attraction is the Bexhill Museum of Costume and Social History, which can be found in town’s picturesque Manor Gardens.
