area, then how about seeing it from a different
perspective ?
The
town of Salcombe lies about 7 miles to the
south of Kingsbridge and is reached via
the A381 from Totnes and A379 from Brixton.
It is a yachting centre and ‘calling place’
for coastal cruising. The town’s history
is portrayed in the Museum of Maritime and
Local History at the Custom House Quay.
At the southern end of the town’s built-up
area (Sharpitor) stands the Overbecks Museum
, Overbecks House and Salcombe Youth Centre.
The ruins of one of Henry VII’s castles
can be seen on one of the promontories of
North Sands. There are a few camping and
sites between Salcombe and the coastal area
to the west near Soar and Bolberry.
Passengers can choose
the location of their flight after purchasing
a voucher accepted for flights all over
the UK. Prices depend on number of passengers
