Buckfastleigh, an historic woollen mill town is located on the southern edge of the Dartmoor National Park. It lies to the south west of Newton Abbot and the north-west of Totnes. The fast flowing River Dart can be viewed from many locations including the heritage South Devon Railway operating between Buckfastleigh and Totnes.
