market town of Wadebridge is situated about
5 miles (8 km) to the south-east of Padstow,
and north-west of Bodmin.
It is easily reached along the A39 or centrally,
from the A30 and along the A389 through
Bodmin. Wadebridge is located at the southern
end of the River Camel Estuary and provides
many facilities for water sporting activities.
The local environment includes several attractive
beaches, golf courses and attractive riverside
locations. The Royal Cornwall Agricultural
Show is held in the area in June.
