holiday town of Newquay extends along the
north coast of Cornwall from Towan Head
to St. Columb Minor, beyond which are several
camping and caravan sites. It is located
to the north of Indian
Queens and south west of Bodmin
and St. Columb Major. Newquay is accessed
from the A39 from A300, A3058 (St.
Austell) and 7 miles along the line
from Liskeard
(in the east) or St.Austell (in south).
The beach at Newquay extends from the Lifeboat
Station to Trevarnon south of Berryl’s Head.
There is a further beach at Fistral Bay
with the Sea Life Centre and many camping
sites to the south.
