The delightful coastal town of Mevagissey is located at the end of the B53223, 5 miles south of St.
Austell and east of Truro. It is a picturesque port and holiday resort with many local attractions, including Mevagissey Museum, housed on the 18th century East Quay and Lost Gardens of Heligan reached from the B3273, approximately a mile uphill to the north west. Beautiful beaches are only a short walk or drive along the coast from Mevagissey. There are also excellent camping and caravanning sites nearby.
