Launceston, the once walled town and capital of Cornwall, is located within 3 miles of the Devon County Boundary, 20 miles north of Saltash, and east of Camelford along the A395. The town is situated at the junction of the A30 (Bodmin), the A3951 (Davidstow) and the B388 (Saltash).
