The town of Camelford is situated approx. 6 miles to the east of Tintagel and west of Launceston, at the crossing of the A39 (Liskeard / Bude) and the B3266 (Bodmin / Boscastle).
It is in an attractive position above the River Camel and in close proximity to the heights of Bodmin Moor (Rough Tor :400ft). The town’s North Cornwall Museum and Gallery, moorland Bronze-Age hut circles as well as the British Cycling Museum are
local venues for tourists.
