Hungerford is the most westerly town in Berkshire. To the west of Hungerford is Wiltshire, and the nearest town of similar size is Marlborough. Hungerford is approx. halfway between Marlborough (Wilts.) and Newbury (Berks.). This is a beautiful rural spot in the countryside just south of the M4 motorway that runs between west Wales and Central London. Fantastic for Hot Air Balloons !
